The HemoCue® Hb 201+ System is a compact, portable hemoglobin analyzer designed for fast and accurate point-of-care testing. It uses a modified azidemethemoglobin reaction with dual wavelengths (570 nm and 880 nm) to ensure precise measurement and automatic compensation for turbidity. The system is factory calibrated against the ICSH reference method, eliminating the need for further calibration. It delivers reliable results within 15–60 seconds using a small sample volume of approximately 10 µL of capillary, venous, or arterial whole blood. The analyzer is lightweight (approximately 350 g with batteries), making it ideal for laboratories, clinics, blood banks, and field use. It operates using an AC adapter or 4 AA batteries and includes built-in self-test quality control with optional liquid controls. The device supports connectivity through a printer and HemoCue® Basic Connect, optional barcode scanner, and Bluetooth® data transfer via the HemoCue® BT Connect accessory. The measurement range is 0.5–25.6 g/dL (5–256 g/L or 0.3–15.9 mmol/L). The analyzer dimensions are 160 × 85 × 43 mm (6.30 × 3.35 × 1.69 inches). Storage temperature for the analyzer is 0–50°C (32–122°F), while microcuvettes should be stored at 15–30°C (59–86°F) with three-month stability after opening. The recommended operating temperature range is 15–30°C (59–86°F). #HemoglobinAnalyzer #HemoCue #HbMeter #HemoglobinTesting #PointOfCareTesting #POCT #LabEquipment #DiagnosticDevice #MedicalEquipment #BloodTesting #HealthcareSolutions #ClinicEquipment #LaboratoryInstruments #AnemiaScreening #PortableAnalyzer #RapidResults #AccurateTesting #HospitalSupplies #MedicalDevices #HealthcareTechnology
